Not only a little less than 250 years ago people could really worry about the welfare of their immortal soul while this last century, society has gradually drifted further from faith, placing increasing trust in the belief that science holds all the answers.
While progress has been remarkable we simultaniously lost touch with the entire Renaissance, even believe life has no purpose and therefor no meaning. We do still pray, only this time with an added layer of relentless stress; anything is possible íf we set our minds to it.
Free to pursue our dreams, free to be who we are or aspire to be, free of ties, free of boundaries, tradition and religion. We preach the achievement of success lies in our actions, commitment and determination. We are responsible for the quality of every aspect of our lives. This accountability grants us the freedom to explore endless possibilities, but how much does it truelly benefit us?
This subtle, ego-driven tendency in society often goes unnoticed until an unthinkable tragedy strikes. The weight of a devastating loss or a profound illness—whether it affects the body, mind, or spirit—can profoundly shake us. In such moments, envisioning a brighter future feels nearly impossible as suffering is completely draining our energy and defeating our hope.
When life becomes overshadowed by chronic grief, deep depression or severe illness, even loved ones - caught up in their own pursuits of happiness - seem to drift away. Clearly time has arrived to forcibly face sorrow in solitude. Questions arise, leaving us weighed down by an inexplicable sense of unease
WE DON ALWAYS LIKE TO feel THIS, GET ANGRY OR FRUSTRATED, REPLYING THIS IS NOT HELPFUL, and unjust. BUT THAT'S JUST IT, IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT WE THINKNOF IT, IT IS JUST SO. IT'S NOT AOUT US AND IUR EGO, ITS ABOUT OUR SOUL. ITS A LESSON. A VERU HARD ONE. AND THE TRUTH IS, A VERY TRUE ONE.
We may not know the why for years and years to come but some day, we will. Maybe small, maybe nobody noticing, maybe only so we can help one person with one sentence to turn their life around for the better. Something our ego ourupbrung thinks of being way to small a use for the ain we suffered.
But that's just our ego speaking. It shows exactly how little we know about life death and transformation and how we are trained to not know in disbelief.
Overwhelmed and overcome by uncertainty we find ourselves lost and adrift, unsure of what to seek or where to go. It's a deeply unsettling and heavy state to endure. Desperate to escape this unexpected despair, we embark on a journey into the unknown, searching for harmony, health, relief or renewal.
Many of us don’t realize grief is not just sadness. It’s a clash of identities, a dysregulated nervous system, a wave of existential confusion and a distortion of time. It’s waking up in a world that appears unchanged, yet feels entirely different. Grief is an entire new landscape, something we don’t simply get over or move past.
Grief wants to become a part of us and consumes literally every second of our day. Exhausted by this new life, we retreat often to the soothing embrace of nature, finding solace in its timeless serenity.
Nature renews itself with each passing year. It's reminding us that after every destruction we have the power to rise. Nature flourishes time and time again. It shows us patience and perseverence and the ability to break down, wait and rise again. It provides strength and hope to weather life's storms.
As we ache to move forward and slowly, step by step, reclaim our life this given fact suddenly feels profoundly meaningful and never truly valued before. We immerse ourselves in it's embrace, gradually finding comfort in these tranquil walks. Slowly, without knowing often, We begin to journey from fear to faith, from darkness to light. We slowly begin to transform the scared into the sacred.
Biblical "stillness" represents a profound act of surrender and releasing control to the Divine. It simply asks for our time, attention and open heart ready to yield. In this sacred silence we are invited to rest, place our trust in divine care and allow ourselves the grace to grieve.
We naturally start lighting candles when darkness hits us really hard. Contemplation is key here, learning how to build our life around this totally new feeling and discovering ways to grow alongside it. We don’t simply bounce back because the truth is, we’re transforming into someone new.
Every part of our journey—the love and the loss—shapes who we are becoming. This process isn’t meant to be rushed; it’s meant to be honored. In a world fixated on speed and relentless productivity, grief forces us to pause. It strips away the unnecessary, leaving behind connection and truth. Grief becomes the fertile soil where deeper empathy takes root and flourishes. We begin to hold closer the things that matter.
Suprisingly enough this feels consoling and peaceful. Maybe on a sad day we actually dó enter that small chapel on our way to the park and let its sacred silence help us become still and aware. We find our inner turmoil lessens. We contemplate. We grieve. Maybe our minds quiet down.
Oftentimes it heals our soul in ways we cannot always explain. While we embrace inner healing we discover solace amid life's chaos and a sense of peace additionally. Grief doesn’t stem from something being broken within us; it arises because something beautiful was lost.
Maybe even mirrors the broken beautiful sonething lost within ourselves.
Jesus said He came to heal the brokenhearted. The word "heal" comes from the Greek word aphiesi, which means to set free or release, liberating us from the harmful effects of a shattered life. It signifies freedom from the destructive weight of brokenness.
Deep within us, our soul inherently understands this truth. It remembers our innate need to stay connected to the Divine Principle and to the world around us. Without this connection, all living beings suffer. Plants are rooted in the earth, drawing nourishment and stability from the soil that sustains their growth. Birds fly in flock. Similarly, we too are anchored into something essential that nurtures and sustains our foundation.
Over 250 years ago, people deeply cared about the well-being of their immortal soul. For centuries, the pursuit of inner peace and spiritual connection has remained a profound and timeless pillar of human existence. Throughout history, we have instinctively known how to anchor ourselves amidst life's challenges.
Being part of who we are, or actually whoó we are, it's rooted in our essence and embedded in our souls. This foundation becomes our refuge when everything else crumbles, offering unwavering support, solace and guidance during our most turbulent moments.
It nurtures resilience, empowering us to endure even the harshest pain and inspiring us to keep moving forward. Life’s storms don’t mean to leave us feeling completely shattered, they mean to rebuilt us into something better, into someone with an extra, its meant to renew ourselves with each passing year.
